From small humble beginnings on Hammersmith Broadway to the heady streets of Soho, this second branch of the casual eaterie specialising in crepes, really is a breath of fresh air in this square mile. Why? Because the area is so saturated with pricey restaurants and some unappealing cafes that this establishment manages to achieve a fine balance of earthy and light food with prices which are fabulously affordable. The open kitchen makes the crepes right there in front of you with savoury and sweet flavoured crepes made from organic flour. The Thai chicken crepe for instance, is flavoursome and rather wellrendered while the veggie delight is equally winning with its filling of fresh tomato, spinach, mushrooms and cheese. The sweet crepes are worth the wait with the, wait for it, I'll have what she's having providing the perfect denoument with strawberries, chocolate and ice cream. Seating can be tad cramped but then this is no place to lounge around in. Deserves to be a success.
