This is a gem of a restaurant which makes a pleasant change from eating crepes from a market stall.

The Venue
With its white and yellow theme, Crepeaffaire is decked out in simple decor to match the uncomplicated food. A pancake-making machine sets the theme so customers can watch as it churns out crepe after crepe.

The Atmosphere
Think swanky sandwich shop without the sandwiches. Crepeaffaire is that perfect place to pop in for food that's quick and tasty. Large windows make for great people watching but takeaway is also available for those on the move.

The Food
The crepes are absolutely delicious with variations to tickle both the sweet and savoury palate. When it comes to sweet options you shouldn't leave until you've tried the classics such as lemon and sugar (Mellow Yellow) or Nutella. Spicy Apple and Strawberry Delight are better options if you’re after something more filling.

The savoury section will also make you drool with the likes of melted cheese, asparagus, bacon and pineapple all making an appearance. In addition, there are tasty chicken varieties in abundance including Thai, Tikka and Supreme. Takeaway crepes start at a smidgen over £2 and go up to around £4.

The Drink
While coffees and teas make an appearance, it’s the smoothies that are the real winners. Think tropical with mango, banana and mixed berries.

The Last Word
Cheap, filling and delicious be it lunch, dinner or dessert, the menu at Crepeaffaire stands out from the standard fare on offer at restaurants around the capital and is all the better for it.
